Chelsea in talks to get rid of two players in January

Chelsea duo Mohamed Salah and Nathan Ake could both be on their way to Besiktas this month, as the Turkish club’s president, Fikret Orman, has confirmed that negotiations are underway. As per the London Evening Standard the Besiktas chief admitted that his club are working on a deal to sign Salah, who is also wanted by QPR, whilst also moving to engineer a loan deal for the relatively untested Ake. Though refusing to specify who it was that he was in London to talk with Chelsea about, the Standard believe it is the aforementioned pair, with both looking to get regular game-time. Salah has failed to make an impact on the Blues first-team, whilst Ake is still perceived to be developing as a player. It also appears Cesar Azpilicueta won’t be out for as long as initially feared, as the Spaniard posted a positive message to fans regarding his injury on Twitter. The full-back picked up a muscle injury against Newcastle, but his recovery is going well.
