Riddle to Punk threat

Former UFC star Matthew Riddle has claimed that he would break CM Punk’s jaw if the two were ever to fight, before offering out the organisation’s boss, Dana White, in a sensational rant.

Riddle was booted from the UFC for use of marijuana in 2013, but hit out at White’s hypocrisy regarding Jon Jones’s recent dealings with cocaine, before suggesting he could take on both Punk and White at the same time.

Froch injury

In boxing Carl Froch’s dream showdown with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. has hit the rocks, as the British champion has injured an elbow in training. Froch wanted to fight Chavez Jr in Las Vegas in March, but has been forced to abandon the plans.

Manchester United boost

Finally former Real Madrid star Ivan Helguera has suggested that Los Blancos don’t need to sign David de Gea this year, following strong speculation that they will. De Gea continues to impress at Old Trafford, but Real have Iker Casillas and Keylor Navas currently on the books.
