Kobe Bryant contemplates retiring from the NBA

Kobe Bryant has revealed that he is contemplating retirement, with reports today suggesting Bryant could replace Charles Barkley on TNT next season. Across to the NFL, and the Patriots' deflated ball controversy rumbles on. The NFL will continue their investigation today over accusations that the Pats tampered with the balls during the AFC Championship Game. Sticking with the NFL, and civil right groups closely linked to the NFL are demanding that the Washington Redskins finally change their nickname, with the groups deeming the nickname as racist. And finally in NHL, New York Islanders beat out the Philadelphia Flyers last night 7-4 in a high-scoring classic.
