Chelsea after Brazilian star

Published Add your comment

It’s a good Monday morning for Chelsea fans as top target Douglas Costa has reiterated his stance that it would be a dream to play for the Blues. Only last week did the Brazilian affirm his desire to make a Stamford Bridge transfer, and was praised for doing so by Jose Mourinho. As if to fuel speculation even further though the 24-year-old has gone into further detail regarding just why he has his west London ambitions, stating that Mourinho was a pivotal factor. And he’s not the only one angling for a Chelsea move this month it would seem, as Fiorentina star Juan Cuadrado is reportedly hoping to secure a Stamford Bridge switch within the next seven days. The Colombia star’s club don’t want to sell, but if the Blues match his release clause they won’t have a choice. Lastly fanciful gossip suggests Chelsea are on red alert concerning Raheem Sterling’s future. The Liverpool star is said to be looking for £100,000-a-week, while the Reds have recently offered him just 70.
