Valencia star set for La Liga stay

Any hopes Jose Mourinho had of signing prodigal Valencia forward Paco Alcacer have been snuffled, as the young Spaniard has put pen to paper on a new deal with his current club. Having scored eight goals this season, and earned his first national cap, big things are expected of the 21-year-old, but for now he’ll remain in La Liga rather than continue his development at Stamford Bridge. There’s no such closure on another rumour from Spain suggesting Sergio Ramos is edging closer to a Premier League switch though. The Real Madrid star is wanted by Chelsea and his contract talks are continuing to stall. Lastly indecisive midfielder Danilo Pantic has claimed he wants his Blues move by the end of the week. The midfielder’s situation has bounced back and forth, but it now looks as though he will in fact move to west London.
