Daniel Bryan has proven during his time in WWE that he doesn't take no for an answer. He is the leader of the 'Yes!' movement after all.
And after the WWE Superstar suffered his latest set back at this Sunday's Royal Rumble - exiting the 30-man brawl early to end hopes of a WrestleMania main event slot - he is doing his best to force the WWE to say yes to his own vision for the biggest event of the year.
Building the hype
Following his elimination, rumors spread that Bryan could have to settle for a WrestleMania match against Sheamus. Now though, Bryan has taken to social media to help build up the hype around a proposed clash with Dolph Ziggler.
Ziggler earlier this week publicly challenged Bryan to a match at WrestleMania and Bryan is clearly keen on the idea of pitting two traditionally unfavored Superstars against each other.
His latest tweet testament to the fact:
Sticking it to the man
As well as urging the WWE Universe to get behind "DBvsDZ", Bryan, in reeling off the similarities between he and Ziggler, is clearly taking aim at the higher ups in the WWE who have consistently looked to stifle the two stars.
With Stephanie and Vince McMahon, as well as Triple H, coming in for criticism this week for backing Roman Reigns big and early, Bryan's outburst is sure to go down well with the majority of the WWE Universe.
Whether any of the WWE hierarchy are willing to listen to he and Ziggler however remains to be seen. All too often we have seen those in charge bypass the superstars to leave him out in the cold.
Reigns' Royal Rumble win sets him up for a WrestleMania 31 main event against Brock Lesnar. The match has so far been met with a lukewarm response and the WWE will be keen to ramp up the interest in the coming months.
If that fails however they may have to cave into Bryan and Ziggler's demands. Their match up at least would guarantee a good reception from a fan base intrigued to see the two superstars, who clearly respect each other's achievements, go head to head.
What do you think WWE fans? Could this match up happen, and would it be better than the main event itself? Let us know in the comments section below...
