Football News

It is Super Bowl week in America and all the conversation is geared towards who will emerge victorious in the biggest game of football ever on Sunday night.

The Seattle Seahawks are set to take on the New England Patriots this Sunday in Glendale, Arizona in Super Bowl XLIX and opinions are divided so far.

Despite the big names going into the climax of the NFL season, most of the pre- Super Bowl attention has gone to a different matter.

It is being referred to as deflate-gate and focuses on the allegations that the balls the Patriots used in their AFC Championship victory two weeks ago were under inflated.

Opinions across the world are divided as to whether or not the Patriots deliberately sabotaged the AFC Championship game, but now the WWE superstars have had their say and even given some advice to the Patriots.

Responding to the WWE Universe's requests for some of the superstars thoughts on deflate-gate, it came down to Lana, The Miz, JBL and even Dean Ambrose to share some wisdom (you can see the video below).

All attempted to give the Patriots, head coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady some advice..... on how to cheat properly.

JBL reflected on how easy it was for the Patriots to win the game claiming that they should only cheat when they 'have to'.

"If you're going to cheat, do it right, have your agent hire a stunt double, this way if you're gonna get caught, there's never any proof that you had anything to do with it." - The Miz's advice to the New England Patriots

Lana focused on Vladimir Putin normally deals with Americans and offered to let Rusev teach them how to crush their opposition.

Dean Ambrose came in with an inspirational one liner to round the video off and compound the cheating advice for the Patriots.

Super Cheating?

With Super Bowl Sunday just around the corner, who knows what effect the increased media hype around deflate-gate has had on the Patriots.

They go into the game as the #1 seed in the AFC and will pose a stern test for a very stubborn Seattle defense.

There has been a distinct lean towards the Patriots according to bookmakers in Las Vegas with many people placing wagers on New England to emerge victorious.

The Patriots have looked dominant in the post-season scoring over 40 points against both the Baltimore Ravens and Indianapolis Colts.

But they will be away from Gillette Stadium and wearing their white jerseys on Sunday which will take them out of their comfort zone.

The Seahawks however are now the focus ahead of the game particularly with their star cornerback Richard Sherman in a tricky situation.

Sherman's girlfriend is due to have their first baby any day now and should that happen on Super Bowl Sunday, only the Seahawks players will know what will happen.
