Karim Benzema could make Premier League switch

Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool could make a move for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema, according to the Express.

Citing reports in France, it has been suggested that the Spanish giants could be willing to listen to offers for the Frenchman, with the striker having been rated at the £40 million mark.

RVP and Falcao uncertainty

In fact, the same report has suggested that Manchester United could swoop for the attacker, with the duo of Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao facing uncertain futures at the club.

The duo have failed to hit top form under Louis van Gaal this season, so it appears that the Dutch coach could look to Benzema as he goes in search of improving his strike force at the club.

The Express have, however, reported that any potential deal in this January transfer window would prove extremely unlikely. There's no doubt about it, Van Persie and Falcao will be determined to impress at Manchester United over the coming weeks and months.

Arsenal and Liverpool in need?

It remains to be seen as to whether either of Arsenal or Liverpool will make a move for the forward, but both clubs could do with increasing their options in the forward department.

Arsenal, who landed Alexis Sanchez and Danny Welbeck this past summer, would no doubt improve with Benzema leading their attack, while Liverpool have struggled up front this term.

With Daniel Sturridge having endured injury problems throughout the course of the campaign, the duo of Mario Balotelli and Rickie Lambert have failed to step up under Brendan Rodgers this season.
