Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher has completed a move to West Brom, according to BBC Sport.
The Scotland international has brought his 20-year association with the Red Devils to an end by signing a deal with the Baggies after passing a medical and agreeing personal terms.
Fletcher travelled with the rest of the Manchester United squad ahead of tomorrow night’s FA Cup fourth round replay against Cambridge United before receiving a late offer from West Brom with hours to go before the winter transfer window slammed shut.
Late deal completed
The 31-year-old subsequently made the trip down to the Hawthorns this evening before thrashing out a deal.
Fletcher was expected to seal a move to West Ham at the weekend, but the deal collapsed after the player failed to agree personal terms with the Hammers.
West Brom face relegation battle
He will instead bring his experience and quality to West Brom’s midfield. Tony Pulis' side are currently 15th in the Premier League table, three points above the relegation zone.
