The first full show of RAW following the Royal Rumble and the Blizzard of 2015 was action packed and had major implications for Fastlane and perhaps even WrestleMania.

With the much awaited announcement from the Authority, we saw Triple H and Stephanie McMahon open the show in the ring.

They officially labelled Roman Reigns as the winner of the 2015 Royal Rumble but tried to get him to rise to a big challenge.

When they were joined by Reigns, Daniel Bryan and Seth Rollins, the announcement was made about a huge Fastlane main event.

The Authority got Reigns to agree to meet the winner of Rollins vs Bryan - set for later that night, at Fastlane with his WrestleMania main event on the line.

Away from the WrestleMania main event, the tag team division fell to pieces throughout the show as The Miz officially fired Damien Mizdow as his stunt double, but rehired him seconds later as his personal assistant.

Gold and Stardust also suffered some major problems after their loss where Stardust stormed away from his brother and would later slap him for calling him Cody.

Daniel Bryan vs Seth Rollins

In the big main event, the odds were as always stacked up against Daniel Bryan taking on Seth Rollins with J&J Security and Big Show at ringside.

The two stars gave the show a fitting conclusion as they gave the crowd in attendance a great match where each man could show off their talents and the WWE Universe responded to them.

Roman Reigns would eventually come to the ring and spear the Big Show and a member of J&J to ease the odds on Bryan who would take advantage and get a big win to progress to Fastlane.

Roman Reigns vs Big Show

Roman Reigns would suffer his first pinfall defeat for a while after being placed in an impromptu match with the Big Show.

Big Show would eventually get the win after interference from Seth Rollins who hit Reigns with the Money in the Bank briefcase before Big Show delivered a chokeslam to get the win.

Dolph Ziggler vs Bray Wyatt

Dolph Ziggler, Erick Rowan and Ryback returned to RAW for the first time in almost a month and were all in action.

Ziggler would be placed in a big match against Bray Wyatt which would end up being a phenomenal match of the night.

The two gave a great match and after Ziggler hit the famasser, Wyatt would pull Sister Abigail out of nowhere as his win streak continued.

Ryback vs Luke Harper

Two of the WWE's biggest powerhouses faced off in a match where each man got the chance to showcase his strength.

Ryback won the battle of the big men after an incredible suplex in which he held Harper up in the air for what seemed like a life time.

Rusev vs Erick Rowan

Erick Rowan was set to face John Cena's opposition for Fastlane but the match never even got started.

As Rowan was entering the ring, he was attacked by the Bulgarian Brute in the first move of a relentless assault.

When Rowan was completely incapacitated, Rusev and Lana delivered one of their classic promos followed by a fairly comical moment.

As the Russian flag was set to descend over the ring, there was a malfunction and only a small corner of the flag emerged sending the WWE Universe into a state of euphoria.

Dean Ambrose and Curtis Axel

It may not have been an actual match, but when Curtis Axel came to the ring in order to claim that he won the Royal Rumble as a result of never being eliminated, he was confronted by the Lunatic Fringe.

Ambrose quite quickly sent Axel over the top rope and claimed he was then officially eliminated.

Ambrose then declared that he will challenge Bad News Barrett and stake a big claim to be the next Intercontinental champion.

The Miz vs Sin Cara

After a backstage segment in which a fan asked Damien Mizdow for a autograph, he was officially fired as his stunt double.

Then rehired as his personal assistant, it seemed that the days of Mizdow imitating his actions outside the ring are now over.

Mizdow ended up giving the fans what they wanted but costing the Miz the match as he distracted his now boss and allowed Sin Cara to get the quick pin.

The Ascension vs Gold and Stardust

A second tag team seemed to crumble tonight as Gold and Stardust lost to the Ascension for the second night running.

The match turned when Goldust tagged himself in and eventually lost to the WWE's newest main roster team.

Stardust would then shout at his brother and leave him alone in the ring and would be found later talking to himself backstage.

Goldust would try to calm him down and get a slap in the face for calling him by the name of Cody.

Cesaro vs Jimmy Uso

The big push for the team of Tyson Kidd and Cesaro continued as Cesaro was booked into a singles match against one half of the tag team champions.

Cesaro got the impressive win after Jimmy Uso tried to hit the frogsplash and instead was met with an uppercut which led to Cesaro getting the win.

Paige vs Alicia Fox

Paige and Alicia Fox met in the ring once again as the Bella twins watched from ringside to analyse Nikki's opponent for Fastlane.

Paige got the win but was then ambushed by all three divas as Alicia held her in place and the Bellas sprayed her with tanning spray.
