Isco monitored by Premier League clubs after Carlo Ancelotti admission

A number of Premier League clubs are monitoring Real Madrid star Isco after his manager Carlo Ancelotti admitted that the trio of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale will always play when they are fit.

This has been reported by the Express, who have suggested that Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United are monitoring the player's situation at the Bernabeu.

It appears, then, that when Ancelotti has all of his key men fit, there's no place for Isco in his side, despite the player having impressed earlier on in this campaign.

Trio will always play

In fact, Ancelotti has insisted that he will always go with the same players if they are available, meaning it would prove tricky for Isco to find a place in the side.

Speaking to reporters, the Real boss said: "I have no doubt - if Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema and Bale are fit, they will always play.

"I have said this many times before - it's not complicated. It's a system that we started last year against Barcelona and we use it very well.

"At times we decide to defend with a 4-3-3. It depends on the players' characteristics."

There's no doubt about it, though, despite certain struggles in Spain, Isco is recognised as one of the leading playmakers in world football.

And, at just 22-years-old, the Spaniard has quite the future in front of him, but it remains to be seen as to whether the likes of Chelsea and Co. step up their interest in him anytime soon.

Who needs him?

Chelsea, of course, already have a number of top class attacking talent, with the likes of Cesc Fabregas and Oscar plying their trade at the club. Jose Mourinho, though, appears to be building quite the squad at Stamford Bridge, so he may well want to add another Spaniard to his side.

Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal also have a number of top attacking players at their clubs, but they may find it difficult to overlook Isco if he became available.

Liverpool, meanwhile, have Philippe Coutinho starring at Anfield, but perhaps Brendan Rodgers will look to improve his squad further as he goes in search of long term success at the club.
