Chelsea after South Korean Messi

Chelsea made a surprise offer for Barcelona starlet Seung-Woo Lee - a 17-year-old forward who has been dubbed the Asian Messi in Spain. According to Marca, the Blues had a bid rejected for the South Korean, which would've made the talented teenager the highest-paid player of his age group in England. Lee has signed a four-year civil contract at Camp Nou but is believed to be growing frustrated at the club, which has prompted inevitable speculation linking him with a move away from Barca. In other news, Gary Cahill is fighting for his Chelsea future, with rumours the England international could be on his way out of Stamford Bridge at the end of the season after losing his place in the team to Kurt Zouma. And finally, Juan Cuadrado has expressed his delight after completing a £23m move to west London, claiming he's very grateful for the opportunity to test himself in the Premier League.
