WWE: Wrestling legend Bill Goldberg to join MMA

Former WWE and WCW champion Bill Goldberg is on the verge of making a sensational switch to MMA.

The wrestling legend was expected to make a return to WWE at some point this year, but it's now believed he's had a major change of heart.

Goldberg's change of heart was confirmed in a frank and honest Twitter exchange over the weekend during which he all but confirmed his desire to join the MMA ranks.

But rather than join UFC like former WWE champion CM Punk, Goldberg has his sights set on kickboxing and is in talks with GLORY Kickboxing Promotion, according to reports.

"It went down on Twitter over the weekend, with GLORY Executive Director Ivan Farneti inquiring whether Goldberg would be interested in fighting. He replied, “With the right prep time and contract, I’d consider anything!”" MMA News reported. See below for their Twitter exchange in full.

Goldberg's desire to join MMA puts real doubt over a possible return for him in 2015, but what do you think wrestling fans? Should Goldberg return to WWE? Leave your thoughts in the comments section below.
