We start off in the NFL, where one quarterback's future remains up in the air. It's been revealed that the Miami Dolphins have yet to open contract talks with Ryan Tannehill. It seems like the Dolphins see Tannehill as their QB of the future however, with a potential seven year deal being rumoured. Over to the NBA now, where the Sacramento Kings are set to hire a new head coach. Reports say that the Kings are close to finalizing a deal with George Karl, who has been out of a job since being fired by the Denver Nuggets. To college football, where Oregon head coach Mark Helfrich has received a new contract. Helfrich has been rewarded for getting the Ducks to the playoff championship game with a 5-year deal worth $17.5 million dollars. And finally, a strike looks imminent in Major League Soccer. The players union is in negotiations with the league on a new CBA, and with talks at a stalemate it seems the start of the season could possibly be delayed.
