Former Divas Champion Paige takes on Nikki Bella this Sunday at the inaugural Fastlane pay-per-view, but in promoting the match, the British superstar talked about who would be the next diva to be called up to the main roster.
Paige made her debut on the main roster almost a year ago, the night after Wrestlemania 30 where she pinned AJ Lee for the Divas Championship, the first diva to do so in 295 days.
Paige was asked by Elvis Duran and The Morning Show's The Josh Podcast this week, about who she thinks will be the next diva to make the transition.
She said: "I'm best friends with Bailey but Sasha Banks is the full package. Like everything about her, she's got a character, she's got the moves. Backstage she is so sweet and professional and actually amazing."
That being said, it's unlikely Sasha will get the nod from WWE anytime soon after she captured the NXT Women's Championship last week at NXT Rival. But this did open the door for Charlotte to get the call up.
Paige also talked about Total Divas, she became a regular cast member this year, and what the future holds for her character on the show.
"We like to play pranks on people. We love to go on trips. There's an episode coming up where we go to Key West, things just get wild when we go to Key West. I make absolutely horrible decisions all the time. It's very cool; I'm very excited to see how the season goes on. I'm very excited to see how I really am because I am that weird wild child."
As well as Total Divas, it seems there is a divas special in the pipeline for the WWE Network. And Paige was asked about her thoughts on the show.
"I would love that too because before I wrestled here I used to work for an all-women wrestling show and so many people used to come out to watch it. These women would kick each others asses, we used to beat the living hell out of each other and people used to love it. I think there is definitely a draw and there is a lot of people who would be very interested in watching it."
There is a lot going on in the divas division right now and after the tremendous fatal four way match for the NXT Women's Championship last week, it seems the future of the division is in safe hands.
