Last week saw the first NXT special of 2015 and it had its fair share of shocks, great matches and incredible moments.

Three matches literally stole the show and would easily steal the spotlight away from many matches that are seen on the main roster.

Finn Balor's victory over Adrian Neville, Sasha Banks' win in the divas fatal 4-way and Kevin Owens' annihilation of Sami Zayn for the NXT Championship were all matches to marvel at.

The success of NXT has led to many subscribers to the WWE Network watching the shows and showing arguably more enthusiasm than they do for RAW.

It has even led to several main roster superstars claiming to be jealous of the time allowed to NXT stars and the quality they are able to showcase.

At last weeks NXT Rival event, the WWE Universe witnessed another incredibly dominant championship match as Kevin Owens won the NXT Title two months after his debut.

He systematically tore apart the previous champion Sami Zayn and left the fans speechless following his victory.

However, Owens' reign as champion has already sparked a bit of controversy from this weekend's live NXT event.

Owens was advertised for a meet and greet at the live event in Ft. Pierce, and did not show up.

He was advertised along side new NXT Divas champion Sasha Banks and NXT tag team champions Blake and Murphy who both showed up as expected.

It hasn't yet been made clear if Owens' absence was intended to help sell him as a heel or if there was an actual problem that caused his non appearance.

Owens already causing trouble?

Owens debuted in NXT two months ago and has already won the NXT title and many were wondering how high he could rise with the championship.

His snub of the meet and greet session could have been intended as they continue to press him as a heel champion.

He did however take part in the live show and defeated a former NXT Champion in Adrian Neville in a non-title match.

Fans are now set to witness a feud between Owens and Balor who won the #1 contenders match against Neville at Rival.
