Footballers are often seen celebrating their goals by busting out some ridiculous dance moves but, this time, it is a Brazilian linesman that was caught throwing shapes on the touchline during a cup game.
Standing on the halfway line while the game was in full flow to his left, the linesman took the opportunity to get his groove on and, by the looks of things, he’s got some moves!
The Taca des Favelas Cup, colloquially known as the Slum’s Cup, often displays some fancy footwork from the players on the pitch, but this referee’s assistant is seen moving to an imaginary beat clearly getting more enjoyment out of dancing than running the line.
The crowd seemed to love it as well and were calling for more as he got his groove on. Maybe he’s missed his calling as a dancer!
He is our favourite elated match official since the referee who was caught 'celebrating' a goal scored by Neil Danns for Blackpool against Oldham a few years back.
It was an absolute belter from Danns - flying into the top corner from 30+ yards - and the referee could hardly hide his excitement as the Blackpool player wheeled away to mark his fine strike.
