Awesome concept alternates designed for NFL helmets

The NFL helmet has been given a makeover, it's out with the old and in with the Oregon Duck-style new.

Design company Deeyung have taken it upon themselves to create 32 custom helmet designs for the NFL's franchises - and they look awesome.

To be fair, there's a few shockers in there too, but by and large it's a huge success from Deeyung.

Rather than the 'classic' look many NFL teams currently embrace, Deeyung have gone all-in on the Nike/Under Armour cartoon style.

Designed to be 'alternates' used once or twice through the NFL season, they will certainly provoke plenty of debate.

And all credit to Deeyung, there's some pretty sweet designs included in their initial release.

This New England Patriots one has an All-American astronaut vibe…

And this gun metal New York Giants design with red face guard is cool…

And we love this Tampa Bay Buccaneers black and red number…

This Steelers one could be the best of the bunch though...

And we love the Jets green-white fade…

How about some of the more questionable decisions though.

There's a few of those, including a pretty disgusting (just our opinion) Miami Dolphins orange abomination…

And what about this shocking green Seahawks helmet…

Not sure what happened with this Falcons one, did they run out of time?

And this San Diego Charger helmet is a victim of a powder blue colour scheme that needs a rethink…

Deeyung have designed a few college football helmets too, so to see these designs plus the rest of the NFL helmets, visit their Instagram page here.

What do you think of the designs? Which is your favourite and which needs to be scrapped? Have your say below…
