Former WWE Superstar returns on NXT

Former WWE Superstar Rhyno made his return to WWE at last night's NXT tapings where he destroyed Elias Samson, as fans chanted "You've still got it, you never lost it."

Rhyno then featured in a backstage segment with Finn Balor and it seems it could be setting up an angle because he will be working with NXT until at least April.

The former United States Champion left WWE to make the switch to TNA back in 2005. It now seems that last night's match was a try-out for the former Ring of Honor superstar and NXT General Manager William Regal seemed impressed with the debut.

He said he was a former World Champion and you couldn't get any better than that because he was a fierce competitor.

After the match he talked about how he always thinks about the WWE Universe because he receives calls from talent all the time, who ask to be a part of NXT.

He said he was open to bringing former WWE superstars to NXT and allow them that platform again. As well as this, he announced that former Tag Team Champion Brian Kendrick would be on NXT next week and whilst he didn't announce his opponent, he confirmed that he would be in action.

It is worth noting that Rhyno's Twitter is now linked to WWE even though his last tweet was back in December, and the last thing he tweeted was the TNA logo.

NXT has been talked about a lot this week with Brie Bella talking about how much she would love to be a part of NXT but if she was in the development territory she wouldn't want to be called up because divas on the main roster don't receive the same amount of TV time as the NXT ones.

Brie talked about how the NXT women had 20 minutes to tell a story in their fatal four way match a few weeks ago while Nikki Bella, who is the Divas Champion, only has around three minutes to tell a story because WWE have to have entrances and they take up a lot of time.

There seems to be a lot of hostility between NXT and WWE at the moment, because of how well Triple H is doing booking the talent.
