Robin van Persie showed off his expert table football skills as he took on teammate Antonio Valencia after their training session.

The Dutchman bested his Ecuadorian counterpart in emphatic fashion as he wasted no time in dismissing his opponents challenge.

In some friendly downtime after their Manchester United training session the 31-year-old striker got the better of Valencia and proved how much of a deadly finisher he can be on the table as well as on the pitch.

Out of sorts

Van Persie has only scored 10 goals in 25 appearances this season though and hasn’t proved to be quite as clinical at finishing on grass as he is on a table.

If life-size football is anything to go by, it is no wonder Van Persie managed to score more goals than Valencia at table football as Valencia hasn’t scored in 21 games this season, in fairness he is spending most of his time as a wing back these days.
