Burnley manager blasts Jose Mourinho

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has been verbally attacked by Burnley manager Sean Dyche, who questioned The Special One’s opinion on a series of incidents that took place during the 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. Dyche was baffled by Mourinho’s outrage over the dangerous tackle Ashley Barnes put in against Nemanja Matic - the one that eventually led to the Serbian being sent off for his response - and suggested that the fact that none of the other players on the pitch reacted adversely was a telling element. The FA have decided to take no action on Barnes, and Chelsea have appealed Matic’s red card. Unfortunately for Blues fans the defensive-midfielder won’t be available for the Capital One Cup final against Tottenham, according to reports, as even if the ban is reduced it will still rule out his next appearance.
