Arsenal Invincibles reunited ahead of documentary

Six of Arsenal's Invincibles were reunited on Monday night ahead of the documentary looking backing at their remarkable achievement.

Arsene Wenger's side of 2003/04, of course, achieved the extraordinary as they went the entire Premier League season unbeaten as they lifted the crown in May.

Star players

With the likes of Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp, Robert Pires and Co. plying their trade at Highbury, the Gunners enjoyed one of the most historic seasons English football has ever seen.

And now, with Sky Sports set to show the documentary on Wednesday after the club's Champions League tie with French outfit Monaco, some of the club's greats have been pictured with each other.

In attendance on Monday evening were Robert Pires, Jens Lehmann, Martin Keown, Ray Parlour, Lauren and Sol Campbell as they looked back on the wonderful campaign.

There's no doubt about it, with 26 wins and 12 draws from their 38 league games in 03/04, it's a record that will be extremely difficult to emulate anytime soon.

Cole absence

It's extremely unlikely that one Invincible will feature in Wednesday's documentary, however, as Ashley Cole, who left north London in favour of a controversial move to Chelsea.

In fact, Cole recently revealed why he was not in the #Invincibles book, as he stated: "People asking why I'm not in the #Invincibles book I thought it would be for the best. I didn't think fans would want it.

"But I will never forget my times at Arsenal and the amazing achievements I accomplished there with great people.”

The best

Of course, many recognise Arsenal's Invincible side as the Premier League's all-time best. And, in truth, it's hard to argue against that despite there having been a number of top teams throughout the Premier League era.

Sir Alex Ferguson's treble winning Manchester United team of 1998/99 was pretty special, but in terms of the Premier League alone, Arsenal are out on their own. Wednesday night's documentary will certainly be worth the watch for the Arsenal faithful, who will be hoping to be in good spirits after watching their side take on Monaco.
