Derrick Rose suffers knee injury again

We begin in the NBA, and Chicago Bulls fans have been dealt some devastating news. It has been confirmed that star baller Derrick Rose has suffered a medial meniscus tear in his right knee, which rules him out for the rest of the season. It's now Rose's third major knee injury in the last four years. Across to the NFL, and the Inglewood City Council has approved plans to build an NFL stadium in the city of Los Angeles. The decision on Tuesday night now paves the way for an NFL return to LA in the near future, with St Louis Rams the favorites to move back. Sticking with the NFL, and Seattle Seahawks fans were treated to some good news this morning. Star safety Earl Thomas underwent shoulder surgery on Tuesday, meaning he could miss the start of next season. But reports today now state that Seattle expect him to be back for week one in September.
