Shocking footage has surfaced appearing to show a couple having sex on Charlton Athletic’s pitch.

The footage, which has now gone viral, appeared on Vine and claimed that the daring duo broke into The Valley stadium in the capital city in the early hours.

Charlton have struggled to find the back of net this season but at least one guy looks like he got lucky on the pitch.

The account that posted the clip of the pair having sex in the centre circle of Charlton’s pitch, Showboat Vines, doesn’t name the couple or say when it was recorded but the account does the describe the ‘action’.

The caption said: “Someone broke into The Valley (home of Charlton) and did this in the centre circle! #SextraTime.”

Officials at Charlton say they are investigating the footage as a matter of urgency. Although at the moment there is no proof that the footage is actually real.

It has been reported that it may be a deleted scene from a BBC show called Silent Witness.

Charlton who have only won two of their last 10 games in the Championship, lost 2-0 to Derby County on Tuesday night to leave them in 16th in the league.

The Addicks will play Huddersfield at home on Saturday and there’s no doubt it might be a little bit awkward when the teams go to kick off.

Charlton have already sold 25,000 tickets for their game with Huddersfield, who are only three points above them, thanks to their Football for a Fiver initiative.

The promotion, designed to get more fans to The Valley for home games means every ticket is only £5.
