Arkadiusz Milik would be a great signing for Arsenal

I know, Arsenal don't need another kid: they need someone that's going to score goals. Well, Ajax star Arkadiusz Milik is exactly the man they need to look at. There's no doubt about it, the 20-year-old has the potential to be a world-class striker, but he could be a lot closer than you may think.

Who is he?

Never heard of him? Not many football fans have; he plays in the Eredivisie and, let's face it, no one is that fussed about Dutch football. Maybe we should start paying more attention!

Milik has be the star player at Ajax this season, at the Bayer Leverkusen loanee is starting to make an impact in Europe too.

He's just a kid!

Ok, yes, Milik is just 20-years-old but his goal scoring record is something that mirrors that of one of the worlds best.

He has a 'goal a game' ratio for the Poland U21 side, and has six in 14 for the first team. Sounds good, right? Well it gets better, for Ajax, Milik has played 28 times, scoring 21 times and getting 10 assists. That means, for his club, Milik is involved in a goal every 87 minutes.

Would he do well in the Premier League?

Ok, so the Eredivisie isn't a top league but anyone who can score that amount of goals, which include one goal in the Champions League, and three goals in two games in the Europa League, deserves the recognition he's earn't.

He doesn't have blistering pace, and he isn't the most physical striker, but he is deadly in front of goal and has a left foot similar to Lucas Podolski.

Ajax will probably want to sign Milik in the summer, but if the Polish striker keeps performing the way he is, then plenty more clubs will want to sign him. Although Bayer Leverkusen will want to hold onto him, if a substantial offer comes in, they may be willing to sell Milik.
