Manchester United have seemingly been struck another blow as youngster Andreas Pereira has revealed that former Red Devil Paul Pogba is attempting to convince him to join Juventus.

Italian paper Tuttosport have revealed that Pereira has been in talks with Pogba, who he considers a good friend, and is contemplating a move to the Italian champions after failing to break into United’s starting XI.

“Everyone knows that Juve is a great club. I spoke several times with Paul, he’s a great friend of mine,” he said.

Pogba partnership?

“He told me that I would find myself in Turin very well both professionally and personally.”

The 19-year-old insists that he wont have any problem playing in the Italian Serie A and hopes to partner Pogba in the heart of Juve’s midfield.

“Of course I know the Italian league and certainly wouldn’t mind looking at playing there for one of the best. Then if I could do it with Pogba it would be even more interesting,” he said.

Decisions Decisions

Amid all this talk linking him with a move away from Manchester, Pereira hasn’t made his final decision yet. His camp are still evaluating his options.

United manager Louis Van Gaal won't be happy with the youngster’s recent attitude. The Red Devils were faced with this exact impediment three years ago when they failed to bind Pogba with a new contract under Sir Alex Ferguson.

The French international hasn’t looked back since then and has established himself as one of the best midfielders in the world. And as talented as Pereira is, United would be wise not to make the same mistake twice.
