Kevin De Bruyne doesn't want to leave Wolfsburg

Football News

Wolfsburg midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has insisted that he has no plans to leave the club after reports linking him with a move away from the Bundesliga, reports the Express.

The midfield ace, who has enjoyed a fine season in Germany's elite division, has in fact been linked with a return back to the Premier League, with the duo of Chelsea and Manchester United seemingly interested in his services.

Kevin De Bruyne, of course, only recently departed Stamford Bridge after failing to hold down a place in the first team, however it appears that he won't be returning to the club anytime soon.

Staying in the Bundesliga

He told reporters: "I never said I wanted to leave in the summer. In football terms, it would not be wise.

"I'm not one of those players who kisses the shirt and then leaves."

Despite his comments, it remains uncertain as to whether the likes of Chelsea or United step up their interest in him anytime soon.

The right decision

There's no doubt about it, De Bruyne would certainly be making the right decision if he rejected any potential interest from either of Chelsea or Manchester United.

The talented midfielder is going from strength-to-strength in the Bundesliga, so shouldn't be looking for a move anytime soon. It would be worth Chelsea or United looking elsewhere as they go in search of improvement.
