David Luiz takes out Zlatan Ibrahimovic in training

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is not the kind of man you want to be messing with, the Paris Saint-Germain star does not take kindly to being manhandled - unless, it seems, your name is David Luiz.

Anyone who has been taking notice of the giant Swede's career will have lost count of the number of times he has been involved in training ground roughhousing, but the gist of this 'physical banter' is usually Ibrahimovic humiliating some poor sod.

This time, however, the tables have been turned and it is the former Chelsea defender/physical comedian who is the one taking the other out. PSG were doing some drill or another in training when the collision occurred.

No idea what exactly it is they are doing, but they were doing it ahead of the 0-0 draw with AS Monaco on Sunday night, which was a missed opportunity for Laurent Blanc's men, who would have gone top with a win.

Luiz is possibly playing piggy-in-the-middle and sees and opportunity to gets a touch on the ball, but it leads him to topple teammate. the Brazil international then wins the exchange, as he kneels on Ibrahimovic's back - a universal sign of dominance.

In all honesty, we at GMS were expecting the martial arts expert to get up and beast the £50million defender with some elaborate backwards axe kick to the bottom of the neck, but it appears it's all quite good natured and he just takes it. Boring.

Anyway watch it yourself here:

On second thoughts, we can understand why Ibrahimovic didn't try and get his own back. Luiz is so happy all the time, bouncing around, hair everywhere - it would be like kicking a puppy.
