Harry Redknapp tips Liverpool for title

Harry Redknapp has aimed what some might perceive to be a jibe at Louis van Gaal, after expressing his doubts over the Red Devils having the mettle to win the Premier League title next year. The ex-Portsmouth, Tottenham Hotspur and Queens Park Rangers boss, who left his Loftus Road post earlier this year, tipped Liverpool to take home English football’s most lucrative prize, despite the fact they can’t boast the same financial might as most of their rivals. Redknapp said Liverpool were unlucky not to win the league last year, and predicted they’d be well in the race next time around. In more favourable Red Devils news Angel Di Maria has played down speculation that he is struggling in Manchester, by insisting he’s happy, and has been since his transferred from Real Madrid last summer.
