PSV look set to lose their pacey Dutch winger Memphis Depay to former Holland national coach Louis Van Gaal in the summer.

Memphis Depay is more than likely leaving PSV Eindhoven at the end of the season and the expected destination is Old Trafford to link up with fellow Dutchmen Louis Van Gaal, Robin van Persie and Daley Blind.

Depay was subject to interest from Tottenham in the summer but PSV managed to keep hold of the talented winger, who will be subject to even more transfer speculation given the form he is in.

The 21-year-old has been in exceptional form this season contributing 15 goals in 19 league appearances and on top of that Depay has scored six goals in seven European appearances. The man has just gone from strength to strength after helping Holland finish third in the 2014 World Cup. No wonder the European powerhouses are sniffing around him.

Toon Gerbrands, one of PSV's directors, admitted that Depay has the option of leaving in the summer. This will be of massive interest to several clubs including Manchester United and Tottenham. Gerbrands has said: "Tottenham were willing to offer €20m for Depay. We decided to keep hold of him. But he has the option to leave after this season."

"I think these two players are very attractive to a lot of clubs in Europe. So far, no one has come forward with an offer but I expect we will come under great pressure."

Obviously, this is still speculation but Manchester United do need to inject to some pace into their play if they want to compete for the title next season and Depay seems like the perfect fit.

Lets see if Van Gaal will ditch the 3-5-2 to use the talented wingers such as Di Maria, Januzaj and possibly Depay - who has been dubbed the new Cristiano Ronaldo in the past.
