Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is back in the squad for their trip to QPR on Wednesday.

The Welsh international appears way ahead of schedule after struggling with injuries throughout the season.

"Aaron Ramsey is back in the squad," Arsene Wenger told a news conference.

"From Sunday against Everton, I don't think we lost anybody."

Wenger will be relieved to have Ramsey back in action, and the midfielder in full form is something fans have been waiting to see since the early stages of the season.

The 26-year old has six goals in 26 appearances this season, some way behind his tally of 16 from last year.

Fellow Arsenal man, Francis Coquelin may be forced to wear a protective mask for the foreseeable future, after breaking his nose in Sunday’s 2-0 win over Everton.

"We have to check Coquelin with the medical people this morning in training to see whether he'll be available or not, but there's no obvious reason why he should not be available," Wenger added.

Mathieu Flamini is also close to a return as the Gunners approach close to a clean bill of health.
