The WWE have today confirmed the plans of two more of their main roster talents for this month's WrestleMania XXXI.

Official confirmation

Per the WWE's official website, both Luke Harper and Dean Ambrose will take their place in the Intercontinental Title Ladder Match at Levi's Stadium, San Francisco on March 29th.

The latest additions will feel they have a legitimate chance of walking out of the arena with the title as they join Bad News Barrett and R-Truth as the Superstars confirmed for the match so far.

Ambrose will be looking for revenge on Bad News Barrett after being defeated by the big man at the recent WWE Fastlane PPV. The latter though has his own issues to overcome after Ambrose managed to leave the ring with the Intercontinental belt in his possession - a humiliating point in Barrett's title reign.

They have come together since, most recently on Raw this week, and the tension is sure to boil over come the big 'Mania event.

Former Wyatt family member Luke Harper meanwhile will be looking to get his hands back on the Intercontinental title when he steps into the ring and attempts to scale that ladder.

The WWE are yet to confirm just how many challengers will compete in the 'Mania XXXI match but accompanying their official announcement today was an image showing those already named. Alongside pictures of Barrett, Harper, R-Truth and Ambrose are two black silhouettes - suggesting no more than two more Superstars will be joining the battle.

Indeed, per Wrestling Inc, last night's SmackDown taping appears to have made it clear that there will be a maximum of six wrestlers in the ladder match.

Two other potential names that could enter the mix are Dolph Ziggler and Daniel Bryan. The pair of Superstar's have been hinting at their own individual match at WrestleMania 31, but both could yet find themselves in a six way battle for a belt should Vince McMahon see fit.

WrestleMania 31 card

Other matches already known to be taking place in San Francisco are; Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight title and Sting versus Triple H in a match that is sure to excite veteran wrestling fans.

There is of course also the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. The Intercontinental Championship Ladder match though will compete with that huge match to come out on top as the best multi-man brawl at this year's WrestleMania extravaganza.
