Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has hinted that Blues youngster Ruben Loftus-Cheek will surprise plenty of people in the Premier League next year, claiming that were he not under pressure to win the title he would already be playing the 19-year-old. Loftus-Cheek, who plays as a midfielder, made an appearance during the clash with Manchester City earlier this season and has been tipped for a bright future. If Mourinho’s comments are anything to go by it seems he could well realise his potential. In less pleasant news The Special One has confirmed that Nemanja Matic picked up an injury during the Capital One Cup final celebrations, despite the fact that he didn’t even play. The Serbian joined the rest of the team in full kit to lift the trophy, but Mourinho has revealed he might struggle to be fit for the Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain.
