Louis van Gaal lavishes unbelievable praise on player

Louis van Gaal has heaped praised on in-form goalkeeper David de Gea, hinting that he’s been more impressive to the Dutchman than Edwin van der Sar and Victor Valdes. The Manchester United coach worked with the latter two earlier in his career, but said following the Red Devils’ 1-0 victory over Newcastle United - a match in which De Gea once again shone - that the Spaniard was unbelievable. Van Gaal might now be worrying about losing the young stopper, with Real Madrid heavily linked with a summer bid. Meanwhile Jonny Evans is facing the possibility of a lengthy ban or fine if he’s found guilty of spitting at Newcastle United’s Papiss Cisse. The pair clashed during last night’s fixture, and both men are facing questions over the conduct the displayed.
