Football News

Philadelphia Eagles are certainly getting busy this offseason. After the events of last week, which included their decision to trade away star running back LeSean McCoy and simultaneously acquire Kiko Alonso, Philadelphia will also now start off the NFL’s free agency period with a bang.

NFL insider Adam Schefter reported on Sunday that the Eagles will sign soon-to-be free agent running back Frank Gore on Tuesday, after the 31-year-old concluded that staying with San Francisco under new head coach Jim Tomsula wasn’t for him.

Huge swoop

Furthermore, after leaving plenty of holes in their defense after releasing cornerback Cary Williams last week, it’s also understood that Philadelphia will be replacing Williams with Seattle Seahawks free agent corner Byron Maxwell.

Maxwell spoke last week about how Philadelphia would be the perfect fit for him, and it seems now he’s got his wish. But what do you think Eagles fans? Are you happy with the potential signings of Gore and Maxwell? Leave your thoughts in the comments section below.
