Jacksonville Jaguars to land Julius Thomas on a free

We start off in the NFL, where the Jacksonville Jaguars could be set to land a star free agent. According to reports, the Jags are favorites to land Julius Thomas, the former Denver Broncos tight end that has made two Pro-Bowls. In other NFL news, the future of Colin Kaepernick has taken an unexpected turn. Reports broke last night that the 49ers were looking at the option of trading their star quarterback, and the team has now been forced to come out and refute those claims. We'll have to wait and see if anything more comes of it. Over to the NBA now, where Tim Duncan might have had his worst ever game at the weekend. Duncan may be a future Hall of Famer but he missed every single one of his field goal attempts against the Bulls on Sunday. And finally to the MLS, where the 2015 season opened this weekend. Jozy Altidore scored twice on his Toronto debut, while Kaka marked his first game in the league with a stoppage time equaliser for Orlando against New York City.
