Cesar Azpilicueta has named his fantasy five-a-side team - and not many people will have guessed the starting line-up.
Opting against choosing himself, the Spaniard bizarrely picked team-mates Petr Cech and Thibaut Courtois to both play. Arsenal's Nacho Monreal was also included by the Chelsea full-back for his battling qualities, while fellow Blues stars Eden Hazard and Diego Costa were also picked to complete the five.
"Wow, I don't know who to pick," he told Chelsea's official website, brought to our attention by the Express.
"Firstly, I apologise to any of my old team-mates if I missed you out, but it was so hard just picking five. I've played with some great goalkeepers. I don't know, there are too many to choose from! Can I pick two goalkeepers? Well, it is my team! I'm going for Petr and Thibaut.
"I'm not going to pick myself, so the defender in my side is going to be Nacho Monreal from Arsenal. He is my good friend, we know each other from Osasuna and he is a good competitor.
"My first attacking player is Eden Hazard. It's for obvious reasons. My striker will be Diego Costa. I know he's going to compete, be strong. I think we are going to have a good team with these players."
Cesar Is Ruling At Stamford Bridge
Azpilicueta has been in fine form this season, helping the club lift the Capital One Cup last weekend. He joined the West London side from Marseille in August 2012 for a reported £7million. Despite the signing of Filipe Luis from Atletico Madrid for £15million last summer, Azpilicueta continues to remain the number one left-back at the club.
After being eliminated from the FA Cup, Chelsea have enjoyed a free weekend in preparation for their second-leg tie at Stamford Bridge against Paris Saint Germain on Wednesday in the last-16 of the Champions League.
After being held to a 1-1 draw in the Parc des Princes three weeks ago, Jose Mourinho's will be confident they can finish the job at home an progress to the last eight for the second consecutive season.
