Mario Balotelli gets burned by Liverpool teammate

Most Liverpool fans already know it, but it's now been confirmed by one of their own players - Mario Balotelli is the laziest player at the club.

That is the view of midfielder Joe Allen, who revealed all about his team-mates for LFC TV.

The Italian has only scored one Premier League goal in 13 appearances since joining the Reds for £16 million in the summer from AC Milan.

The goal was a vital one however; Balotelli netting the winner against Tottenham in a 3-2 victory at Anfield in February.

The 24-year-old's attitude is constantly being questioned and his demeanour both on and off the pitch can infuriate even the most loyal Liverpool supporter.

Welshman Allen also admitted that Lucas is the biggest moaner at the club.

Jose Enrique took the award for being the most vain player as well as being the worst dressed. Striker Daniel Sturridge is the most superstitious and, not surprisingly, Martin Skrtel is the toughest.

An example of Skrtel's mental strength as well as his physical strength came in Sunday's game against Blackburn in the quarter-final of the FA Cup, when he was left frustrated that he had to be substituted after suffering a head injury which left him unconscious for a short period of time.

It was a toss-up between Reds captain Steven Gerrard and Raheem Sterling for who was the fittest, according to Allen.

Liverpool will need all the energy they can get as they enter the final stages of the season, with the coveted fourth place still very much up for grabs.

Do you think Liverpool should sell Mario Balotelli?
