A video that has emerged over the weekend seems to show Seattle Seahawks star Marshawn Lynch involved in a late night brawl outside a bar in San Francisco.

Seattle Sea Chicken

The running back and his entourage appear to get into a confrontation with a passer by in the video first released by TMZ.

You can see the 15-man scuffle for yourself further down this article, with one report stating that, according to an eye witness, Beastmode "threw a few punches" before making his exit.

The Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers share one of the most intense rivalries in the NFL and clearly Lynch's partying in the latter city didn't go down too well with at least one citizen.

According to TMZ:

"Marshawn and his crew were leaving a San Francisco bar when a drunk guy taunted the running back, repeatedly calling him a "Seattle Sea Chicken."

"Someone in Marshawn's crew snapped and a melee erupted. You see Marshawn in a white cap trying to pull one of his friends away from the guy. An eyewitness tells us Marshawn got in a few punches before walking away."

In fairness to Lynch he appears to be less the instigator and more a part-time peace keeper in the clip itself with the blurry outline of Beastmode seen holding back a guy at one point.

No arrests were made at the scene.

Sticking around

49ers fans may have been hoping they had seen the last of Marshawn Lynch with reports earlier this year suggesting the controversial RB could quit the NFL.

They will have to get used to him terrorizing the NFC West a little while longer though with Lynch now set to return to Seattle for the 2015 season.
