Juventus want more than €80 million for Pogba

Another day, another Paul Pogba transfer story. Well we’ve done some searching and we’ve managed to find one that isn’t just speculation dragged from the depths of click-hungry despair, it’s reinforced with quotes from Juventus president Beppe Marotta himself. Given that Manchester United have been hotly linked with making a summer bid for Pogba it’s no wonder the Turin chief has got involved again, this time inferring that not even €80 million will be enough to prize the France international from Italy. We’re guessing the words hard bargain sit high in his list of favoured phrases. In lighter news both Michael Carrick and Chris Smalling have made it clear that their aim is to see the Red Devils finish second in the Premier League this season. Initial expectations were for a top four finish, but following positive results a wave of optimism has crashed over Old Trafford.
