Jose Mourinho may yet try and stage a surprise summer move to sign Real Madrid’s unwanted midfielder Sami Khedira, but if he does so he’ll be going directly against the advice of German legend Franz Beckenbauer. The 69-year-old, known throughout football as Der Kaiser, told how he wasn’t sure any club would benefit from signing Khedira in his current physical shape, with the World Cup winner having struggled with injuries of late. In other news it’s been claimed that Chelsea are using former Stamford Bridge ace Deco to try and beat Manchester United to the signing of Brazilian youngster Kenedy. The 19-year-old is highly coveted in Europe and tipped for a big future, and it's believed that Deco has become his agent.
