WrestleMania is just around the corner and all the rumours we have heard for several months are finally being confirmed or proved wrong.
The rumours of Triple H vs Sting, John Cena vs Rusev and Brock Lesnar to still be holding the title going into the event have all been proven right.
A dream match between Sting and The Undertaker and a feud between Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler are two that have been proven false.
One is still yet to be played out however is the imminent return of the Celtic warrior Sheamus.
There have been several videos in recent weeks that have advertised the return of the Irishman, but there is as of yet, no return date in place.
Many feel that Sheamus will make his return at WrestleMania and for the longest time, it had been thought that he would compete in the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal.
But it has been speculated that Sheamus may return to take part in the Intercontinental Championship ladder match instead.
Sheamus left as a face superstar but the rumours have been that the WWE would once again like him to become a heel.
Putting him in a match with popular face stars such as Dean Ambrose, Dolph Ziggler and Daniel Bryan gives him many opportunities to turn the fans against him.
By costing a big name face superstar the title, Sheamus could not only complete a heel turn, but set up a post-WrestleMania feud.
He had been rumoured to be going against Bryan at WrestleMania so perhaps his feud could be with the leader of the Yes movement?
A long way back
Sheamus has been gone for several months now and his return will give the WWE a top level heel superstar who isn't a member of the Authority.
While they're currently struggling for top card heels, Sheamus has played the role before and could easily slide into it once again.
Who knows what will happen with the seven (could become eight) men in the Intercontinental Championship ladder match after WrestleMania, but Sheamus' return could start a major feud for one of them.
