We've all seen our fair share of players' disbelieving reactions to receiving red cards but Milos Markovic took his protests at being sent off in the final minute of regular time to a whole new, hilarious level.
With his side trailing Steaua Bucuresti 1-0, the right-back was shown a yellow card for a second bookable offence but instead of willingly accepting his marching orders as so often seems to be the case, Markovic outrightly refused to leave the field of play for an agonising three-minutes while he protested with the match officials.
After he (presumably) realised that his objections to the red card were falling on deaf ears, Markovic strode off the pitch before lashing out at an advertising board and being led away down the tunnel by the club's staff.
To add insult to injury, it seems that Markovic's defiance in the face of this perceived injustice could not inspire his side to reduce the 1-0 deficit, as they were eventually beaten by the Romanian champions.
