Football News

Wrestlers put themselves at risk every single time they go out and perform for fans entertainment.

Just this weekend we saw star Mexican wrestler Perro Aguayo Jr. tragically pass away during a match where he hit the ropes wrong, with several other stars meeting their untimely fate in the ring in years gone by.

While these are extremely uncommon in the modern day, wrestlers still get injured very often. WWE superstar Roman Reigns spoke in an interview today where he revealed the worst injury that he has ever received came not that long ago.

Most Painful Injury

Reigns spoke to Chris Illuminati of Bro Bible ahead of his title challenge at WrestleMania 31 this Sunday against Brock Lesnar and revealed the injury woe there.

"The most recent was my match against Daniel Bryan at Fastlane. He kicked my scar from my recent hernia surgery. That was painful. I needed to take a step back from training that next day!" - Roman Reigns on his most painful injury

That made me wince just reading it. I have not had hernia surgery, ergo i have never been kicked in a hernia scar, but oh my god that sounds awful.

Reigns twitter account is a treasure trove of injury pictures that he has suffered during his time in the WWE. These all look completely horrendous and it's a struggle to believe that any kick could hurt more than them, so it must have been truly awful.

Fingers crossed that Brock Lesnar doesn't hit Reigns scar in the main event at WrestleMania on Sunday. Also, Daniel Bryan's kicks must be powerful as hell. The small man packs a big punch, well kick.
