Fans react angrily to 'weak' RAW segment with Lesnar and Reigns

We are less than a week away from WrestleMania XXXI and the WWE have to have concerns over their main event booking.

Roman Reigns will take on Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship this Sunday and the fans are even more restless than ever before.

Reigns has been receiving mixed receptions from the WWE Universe since winning the Royal Rumble back in January.

He and Lesnar had only come face to face once and that was at WWE Studios when RAW was cancelled due to a severe snow storm the night after the Royal Rumble.

Reigns had come face to face with Paul Heyman several times but tonight he stood eye to eye with his opponent.

It was a hotly anticipated segment in which the WWE Universe were expecting a brawl between two big powerhouses.

Instead they given a segment where the two played tug of war with the title belt before RAW went off the air.

As with any unpopular segment in the WWE these days, Twitter was ready to pounce with several different trends appearing across America from the portion of the show.

Reigns and Lesnar, Heyman and #RomanvsBrock all trended on Twitter and there were very few positive tweets about the segment.

Many expected Reigns and Lesnar to finally come to blows and make both look strong ahead of WrestleMania, but instead they got a segment that made two of the strongest men in WWE look like children.

Needless to say the WWE now have reasons to be worried ahead of WrestleMania and who knows what changes they may make to their creative plan between now and Sunday.

Yes-tlemania part II?

Last year Daniel Bryan defied the odds and overcame the Authority to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

The build up to WrestleMania XXX was largely focused on how Bryan 'couldn't' win the title but he proved everyone wrong.

This year has very much been more of the same with Reigns coining the term 'I can and I will' ahead of the event.

Whilst the faces in the main event have changed, the build up and possible ending could end up being a carbon copy of last year's show and that could result in the WWE Universe largely falling out with the product.
