Chelsea star struck with an unfortunate injury blow

Diego Costa may be starting to find his form once again after a relatively slow period in front of goal, but his momentum could be halted by a hamstring injury he’s picked up. The Spanish Football Federation have confirmed that the forward is unavailable for their matches against Ukraine and Holland after picking up a level 1 hamstring tear, and he will return to Chelsea to continue his recovery. Costa was replaced by Loic Remy during the weekend’s victory over Hull City, with the Frenchman scoring the winner, but there’s no doubting who Jose Mourinho’s No.1 is so he’ll hope Costa is fighting fit as soon as possible. Elsewhere John Terry has issued a rallying cry to his teammates, suggesting that their ‘immense’ dressing room will be enough to secure the Premier League title. Recent fortunes at Stamford Bridge have been mixed, but with nine games left to play Chelsea look good value to take home England’s most valued prize.
