We begin in the NFL where New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft has spoken out about DeflateGate. Speaking at the NFL owners meeting, Kraft told reporters that there is no smoking gun that could prove the Patriots used underinflated football during their playoff clash against the Colts. Elsewhere in the league, the Cleveland Browns are expecting Johnny Manziel to return to the fold for April’s offseason workouts. The quarterback has been in rehab since late January and Browns GM, Ray Farmer, admitted those in charge of his care will have the final say. Across to the NBA and it was another huge night for James Harden. The Houston Rockets star boosted his MVP prospects with 44 points to help his team beat the Indiana Pacers 110-100. Finally in the NHL, Ilya Kovalchuk is considering a surprise return to the league. The Finnish star hasn’t played in the NHL since 2013 after he opted for voluntary retirement.
