The night after WrestleMania is sometimes more anticipated than the WrestleMania itself and this year's was certainly worth the wait.
The night following the show of shows is often the night WWE use to bring through new talent and shake things up as much as possible.
Tonight we saw multiple NXT stars appear on the main roster and two titles that were newly won at WrestleMania put on the line.
John Cena hosted an open challenge to anyone to come and get his newly won United States Championship.
Cena would come face to face with the Lunatic Fringe Dean Ambrose who gave him a good run for his money but the Champion prevailed.
Daniel Bryan placed his Intercontinental championship on the line against Dolph Ziggler in what was yet another great encounter between the two.
Daniel Bryan would retain his title before being attacked by the former champion Bad News Barrett who didn't end with a bull hammer to Bryan, delivering similar treatment to Ziggler.
The music of the Celtic Warrior Sheamus would then ring out and the former United States Champion would come running down to the ring.
Sheamus would first defend Bryan and Ziggler and whilst the crowd took in his very unique new look, he would give us a big twist.
Sheamus would then attack both Ziggler and Bryan relentlessly before picking up a microphone and simply stating "I'm back".
It was announced later in the night that Sheamus would make his in-ring debut this coming Thursday night on Smackdown when he teams with Barrett to take on Ziggler and Bryan.
New look, new man
Sheamus had been expected to return as a heel for many weeks now and many expected to see him show up at WrestleMania on Sunday night.
However we only saw Sheamus tonight on RAW and he was full of surprises from the second he appeared on the stage.
With a brave new mohawk hairstyle and a brazen beard, Sheamus has returned and it will be interesting to see what he does now that he's back.
