Alexis Sanchez’s good friend won’t be following him to north London

If there was any lingering doubt over his plans for the immediate future Neymar Jr. has cleared them up. Perhaps acting in a pre-emptive capacity ahead of what’s sure to be a summer of rumours and gossip, the Brazilian superstar has confirmed that he’s not planning on following Alexis Sanchez to the Premier League. Sanchez made a blockbuster move to Arsenal last summer and has been a hit on English shores, but Neymar would prefer to continue at Barcelona, claiming he has a ‘long road to walk’ there. Elsewhere Jack Wilshere has been advised to backtrack on his career and play for England U21s by David Seaman. The midfielder has had a troublesome season dogged by injuries. but he could make a serious statement by impressing at the U21 European Championships in the summer.
