Chris Paul falls over after stepping on Steph Curry's shoe - Twitter goes mental

We all love a great move in basketball, but just because it is Steph Curry and it looks great from the outset this doesn't naturally make it great.

On Tuesday night, Steph Curry and his Golden State Warriors travelled to the Los Angeles Clippers to face Chris Paul and co.

The game was entertaining and the Warriors ended up edging the contest 110-106, but the battle will always be remembered for one moment. The moment when Curry's skills floored Chris Paul.

There is no getting around it. Curry bewildered Paul with a behind the back dribble that had the Clippers point guard off balance.

NBA fans and players have subsequently all fallen over themselves and congratulated Curry on a sumptuous piece of play, but what they should remember is the facts. And you will be able to work them out when you really study the video.

Paul has earned himself a lot of embarrassment after the play, which is pretty much all unfair. If you look at the video below closely you can see that Paul only falls to the floor because he steps on Curry's left leg.

Yes, fair play Curry makes him go the wrong way, but he does not turn Paul's ankles into dust. And the fact that everyone thinks he has done that just shows how little people pay attention to what is really going on.

The move got the Twitter world talking and has been trending constantly since the incident. But rather than talking about how sick the move was by Curry, we are talking about Paul's mistake. And no doubt the stupid memes will follow.

It is an awesome move by Curry, but Paul is just merely unfortunate to step on Curry's left leg. That's why he is forced to the floor. So let's talk about the sick move and not the unfortunate fall.
